1. Data controller

VJOBS.RO processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Romanian law.

2. What data we collect

Account data (email, hashed password), profile data (name, phone, city, experience, CV), usage data (applications, messages, preferences) and minimal technical data (IP address for security and abuse prevention).

3. Purposes of processing

Providing the recruitment service, computing candidate–job compatibility, enabling communication between candidates and employers, invoicing employers, and platform security.

4. How long we keep data

For as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, personal data is permanently erased, except invoicing records retained under legal tax obligations.

5. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, portability and objection. From your account you can export all your data (JSON format) and permanently delete your account, without needing to contact us. For any other request, use the contact page.

6. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies only: the session cookie (authentication), the language cookie and the consent cookie. We do not use marketing or third-party tracking cookies.

7. Transfers and third parties

Data is never sold to third parties. The payment processor (for employers) receives only the data strictly necessary for the transaction.
